The Catholic Community of the Beatitudes
in Denver is the first house in the U.S.A. and started in August 1999.
Community residential members at present, include two families,
three
priests, three sisters pursuing consectrated life and a single lay
sister. There are 3 non-residential members of the community
(Beatitudes of the Holy Family) and four Friends of the Lamb.

Most Reverend
Charles Chaput, Archbishop of Denver, met the Community's General
Moderator in Rome for Pentecost 1998 during the gathering of new
communities called by Pope John Paul II, and asked the Community to
settle in Denver. |
