Most adult Christians are married Christians. Most of these married Christians have stood before a minister or a priest and solemnly promised fidelity and lifelong marriage "until death do us part."

Still, some Christians ask whether they can put aside these vows, divorce and remarry, and still call themselves faithful disciples of the Lord Jesus.

Therefore it is necessary to review the teaching of Jesus about marriage, for it is He who came to teach us God's truth about human love.
