| Thursday Adoration

The
Thursday Adoration Group was
started in November 2007. It followed the movement of the Spirit in the
previous "Upper Room" charismatic prayer group which found itself more
and more drawn to the contemplative depths of adoration and worship.
Indeed it was clearly evident that the times of greatest annointing in
the group occured during times of silent listening, and particularly in
front of the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the Monstrance. |
The Adoration evening is open to everyone with the encouragement that you come with an open heart to receive the manifold Blessings that the Lord has in store for you. We begin at 6:30 pm with a rosary prayed from the heart to ask Our Mother to prepare us to meet her Son in adoration. The adoration begins at 7:00 pm and finishes at 8:00 pm. The hour is a silent hour interspersed with short meditations and contemplative hymns such as those given through Taize.
